Reflections....an appropriate title to explain the journey of poetry contained within this website.
The poems contained on the following pages are just a small selection of work that I have done since I started writing poetry 2 years ago. I try to select work that takes the reader on an intimate emotionally charged journey of all aspects of my world, my life.
My writing has been an exploration of personal growth and therapeutic expression which has now become an active part of my everyday.
Having lived with M.E and Fibromyalgia for some time now and more recently a thyroid problem, my writing can sometimes reflect on the ways my life is affected by these illnesses and the frustrations I experience with them everyday....*it’s not all health related though as I am made up of much more then just symptoms alone.*
My writing can also reflect on the world and those around me. I like to be able to write about things I observe outside of my own life as it can lend balance to the way certain situations and scenarios are seen and felt. I touch on very universal themes and as you read through you may find specific pieces may “speak” to you in a very personal way.
The poems are rotated every month, sometimes they are all about one theme throughout but most times they are mixed topics, some are short pieces where as others can be much longer.
Please feel free to leave feedback, comments or suggestions on the guest book or by emailing me direct. Many thanks to those who have already left kind and supportive messages and to those who have related, been touched and found peace within the poems... your words I have felt and truly appreciated. x....welcome to my journey.

Who Am I?
A woman craving things in life
A lover scared of lonely nights
A sister never shown to play
A daughter lost along the way
A wife unsure in her ways
A friend who only wants to please
A child in tears upon her knees
A girl ready to explore
A soul lost and craving more.....
